Your Responsibilities

  • Build strategic relationships while engaging tactically within divisional or departmental groups.
  • Develop and maintain Global Key Accounts within the territory.
  • Seek out and develop new customers within the territory.
  • Seek out and build business relationships with KOL's in our industry.
  • Own the development of opportunities through to receipt of Purchase Order and ensure detailed and thorough transition to Life Science Projects or Service teams.
  • Coordinate and prepare meetings and presentations for both external customers and internal business partners.
  • Ensure CRM is up to date.
  • Meet and consistently exceed all sales targets set by the business.
  • Co-ordinate with internal departments to maintain customer satisfaction levels.
  • Feedback to the business on market trends to enable future business strategy development.
  • Collaborate with and maintain strong relationships within Service and Projects to deliver a world class, end-to-end approach.
  • Attend and organise, in partnership with MARCOM business partners, regional and international trade shows related to the industry.
  • Develop territory marketing strategies in order that we enhance our market presence.
  • Be an ambassador for the Getinge brand.

Who You Are

Your profile

  • Degree level or equivalent education: In Biotechnology / Biology / Microbiology or similar.
  • Previous experience of Sales within Biotechnology sector and of working in lab environment.
  • Good knowledge of Bioprocessing, previous experience of bioreactors an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills over the telephone and face to face, demonstrating a high level of customer service, professionalism, and compassion for others always.
  • Good German and English skills.
  • Demonstrate a motivated and passionate approach to work, taking ownership for tasks.
  • Planning and organizing to manage time, KPI's and workload effectively.
  • Proficient in MS packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Previous experience of SalesForce an advantage but not essential.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Ability to develop relationships at all levels within a global organisation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills combined with strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Openness to travel (60-70%)
