greateyes GmbH is a manufacturer of scientific, high-performance cameras for imaging and spectroscopic applications based in Germany. Furthermore, greateyes has become a leading international supplier of electroluminescence and photoluminescence measurement systems. These devices make the optimisation of solar cells and modules manufacturing and a detailed quality assessment possible, hence supporting research and development in the semiconductor industry. Your Role

To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for individuals with that certain something for full-time employment in the business areas of "scientific cameras" and "inspection systems": technically competent, likable individuals with interpersonal sensitivity and team spirit! Take responsibility for new and existing customers and sales partners. Explore additional markets or place our products in new applications. Plan marketing campaigns alone or together with the team. A playing field full of opportunities and possibilities lies before you.

Your Responsibilities

  • Technical sales of scientific products
  • Customer acquisition, consulting, support, and retention
  • Development of customer-specific solutions in collaboration with our engineering team
  • Cooperation with sales partners worldwide and development of (multi-)annual goals
  • Preparation of quotations and order processing
  • Support of the technical support team, especially in customer communication
  • Planning, execution, and evaluation of sales trips (customer visits, demonstration measurements, product presentations, trade fairs, and conferences)
  • Strategic development of new customer bases / markets
  • Work with a CRM system

Your Qualifications

  • Completed degree in a technical or scientific discipline, preferably in physics, physical technology, photonics, metrology, etc.; alternatively: industrial engineers with very good physical-technical knowledge
  • Likable and confident demeanor
  • High level of enthusiasm and motivation for independent, responsible work
  • Logical approach to technical issues
  • Very good technical understanding of imaging / spectroscopy
  • Experience in the sales of technically sophisticated products
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness for occasional national and international travel (<10%)
  • Proficient use of LibreOffice / MS Office, knowledge of InDesign, GIMP / Photoshop advantageous
