About the Role

Our client, a leading European distributor of spare parts for the catering and commercial kitchen equipment, vending and coffee machines, refrigeration technology, and household appliances with 800 employees, is seeking to strengthen its team. We are looking for a Refrigeration Technician in Technical Customer Support (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible. This position can be based remotely anywhere in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Sales DACH team, specifically in the area of refrigeration technology in Germany.
• Offer technical advice to customers on selecting the correct products, including identifying technically compatible alternatives within our product portfolio.
• Handle 2nd level support and all national technical after-sales issues.
• Conduct local benchmarking for the refrigeration sector by developing the product portfolio.
• Train technicians in refrigeration technology.
• Manage data for the implementation of local OEM projects.

Qualifications

• Vocational training with a technical background.
• Many years of experience and good industry knowledge in refrigeration technology.
• Ability to read and understand construction and exploded drawings.
• Strong technical understanding, customer focus, and solution orientation.
• Good pedagogical and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
• Very good written and spoken German skills, as well as good English skills.
