Your Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager Innovation & Business Development (m/f/d) for the Pullach location, to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Development & Innovation: Identification, evaluation, and development of new product, brand, and business ideas, including steering NPD processes until handover for implementation.
  • Consumer & Market Insights: Planning and execution of market, consumer, and competitor analyses, as well as deriving clear, action-oriented recommendations. Deep understanding of consumer needs — from insight-based idea generation to concept validation.
  • Business Cases & Decision Support: Creation of robust business cases, including scenario, opportunity, and profitability analyses for management.
  • Market & Partner Analyses: Evaluation of potential brands, business areas, and distribution partners, as well as building relevant market and network structures.
  • Interface & Project Work: Close collaboration with internal interfaces such as Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Regulatory, Management, and external partners, as well as managing complex projects.
  • Analytical Advancement: Building and developing a structured insights agenda and strengthening data-driven decision-making within the company.

Your Profile:

  • Qualifications: Completed business-oriented studies with a focus on Marketing, Market Research, Innovation, Business Development, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in innovation, strategic marketing, or business development, ideally in the healthcare or FMCG sector — with demonstrable experience in translating consumer insights into successful products/concepts.
  • Analytical Expertise: Highly proficient in using quantitative and qualitative market research methods, as well as interpreting complex data.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to evaluate market potentials, consumer trends, and risks, and translate them into well-founded, consumer-centric recommendations for action.
  • Ideation & Creative Methods: Experience in applying and moderating creative and innovation methods (e.g., Design Thinking, Jobs-to-be-Done, Consumer Journey Mapping).
  • Business & Project Competence: Proven experience in developing robust business cases, project management, and working with external partners (selection, management, evaluation).
  • Communication: Strong presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills at management level.
  • Work Style: Team-oriented, structured, flexible, and confident in dynamic, growing environments.
