Position Opening

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant in Teaching and Research (m/f/d) to foster student development and contribute to our academic excellence.

Location: Koblenz Department: Business Administration Start Date: Immediately Employment Type: Full-time Contract Duration: 2 years (fixed-term) Salary: Up to E 10 TV-L

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver lectures, focusing on foundational knowledge in general business administration within the department (6 contact hours per week).
  • Guide students in critically engaging with course content across various programs.
  • Assist in developing and implementing processes for English-taught study programs.
  • Create and maintain English-language information resources for students regarding programs, courses, and departmental services.
  • Develop digital processes to support international students, such as digital recognition of academic credits.
  • Digitize workflows related to the selection and application process for partner universities.
  • Participate in the self-governance of the department.

Your Profile

  • Completed university degree in International Business Administration (e.g., International Management, International Business, or International Marketing).
  • In-depth knowledge of business administration, particularly in the areas mentioned above, with a willingness to deepen this expertise.
  • Familiarity with academic working techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken, minimum C1 level).
  • Personal affinity for international exchange and studies, or relevant international work experience, is desirable.
