Service-IT Department

The Landshut University of Applied Sciences is excellently established with six faculties and focuses on technology, business, social sciences, health, and media, offering practice-oriented teaching and applied research. It educates over 5,000 students in 57 degree programs and currently employs approximately 450 staff members.

The central Service-IT department at the Landshut University of Applied Sciences is seeking a

User Service IT Specialist (f/m/d)

(permanent, full-time)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Participation in the central helpdesk
  • Involvement in IT rollouts and projects from planning to implementation
  • Support and administration of virtual workstations, including software updates
  • Assistance with the maintenance of servers for virtualization
  • Execution of network configurations

Our Requirements:

  • Successfully completed training as an IT specialist in system integration or application development
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current operating systems and standard software
  • Basic knowledge of network technology, IT security, and hardware
  • Service-oriented demeanor, reliable and structured work approach
  • Good German language skills, both written and spoken
