Your Responsibilities

What you achieve with us

At HUMMEL, it's not just about technology -- it's about creating solutions that truly advance our customers. In your role as Sachbearbeiter Finanzbuchhaltung (m/f/x), you work independently and closely with your team. Specifically, this means:

  • Booking all business transactions for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and/or fixed assets accounting
  • Maintaining open item lists and customer/vendor master data
  • Account reconciliation with suppliers/customers
  • Processing supplier payment runs in compliance with payment deadlines
  • Handling supplier reminders and requests for cash discounts
  • Preparing VAT pre-declarations
  • Collaborating with specialist departments and suppliers
  • Assisting in the preparation of the annual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code)
  • Processing travel and entertainment expenses
  • Creating statistics

Your Profile

What you bring -- professionally & personally

You have a qualified commercial or tax-related vocational training and professional experience in a similar environment.

Required expertise:

  • MS Office
  • German (C2)
  • Experience in using accounting software

Personally, you convince us with:

  • Communication skills in dealing with internal/external stakeholders
  • Strong team orientation
  • Analytical, systematic, and structured way of working

Desirable experience:

  • IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) financial accountant certification
  • Industry experience
