Responsibilities

• Development and continuous improvement of a business management control system based on internal strategic and qualitative guidelines
• Further development, implementation, and tracking of relevant financial KPIs and their integration into a company-wide management model
• Support for department heads in achieving strategic company goals; sparring at eye level with managers
• Optimization of information provision to promote efficient decision-making processes and create cost transparency
• Ensuring the economic planning of supervised departments in accordance with the strategic guidelines of the finance department
• Performing periodic closing activities (e.g., forecasts, accruals, commentary in central reporting)

Qualifications

• Completed degree with a focus on business administration
• Sound knowledge of controlling methods and instruments (including cost accounting)
• Knowledge of external accounting (especially HGB, consolidation)
• Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in a regulated or technically oriented corporate environment
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and proficient use of SAP ERP (CO, BW) or S/4HANA
• Strong analytical skills and structured, independent work style
• High level of initiative and decisiveness
• Strong communication skills, teamwork ability, flexibility, and resilience
