Our current sixteen-person Finance team manages accounting processes, corporate taxes, and prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for over 45 active Hypoport companies nationwide from our locations in Lübeck and Berlin. Hypoport hub connects the corporate functions for the Hypoport network, which represents the merger of high-performing technology companies for the credit, real estate, and insurance industries. Your Responsibilities
- Financial Statements: You will prepare monthly and annual financial statements for our Hypoport companies in accordance with commercial and tax law (HGB/StR).
- Payment Transactions: You will independently manage payment transactions for the Hypoport companies you oversee.
- VAT: You will prepare consolidated VAT pre-declarations for multiple companies.
- Audits: You will support economic and operational audits (assistance, documentation, inquiries).
- Tax Compliance: You will participate in Tax Compliance Management and support the development of relevant structures/processes.
- Special Finance Topics: You will handle tasks related to e-invoicing, tax reporting obligations, and reporting to management.
- Tax Projects: You will manage tax projects, such as the tax classification of new business models.
- Digitalization/Automation: You will drive the digitalization and automation of finance processes in a solution-oriented and process-driven manner.

Your Profile
- Qualification: You have a relevant degree (e.g., Tax Specialist, Accountant) or a university degree (e.g., Tax Law/Taxation/Business Administration) or a comparable qualification.
- Experience: You have sound practical experience in Tax & Accounting, ideally gained in a tax firm or a comparable in-house role.
- HGB/Tax Law: You are proficient in accounting according to HGB and tax law and are familiar with the closing process (monthly/quarterly/annual) from practical experience.
- VAT: You have strong practical experience with VAT and ideally experience with (consolidated) VAT pre-declarations across multiple companies.
- Tools: You are proficient with DATEV and skilled in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Work Style: You work in a structured, careful, and reliable manner and communicate confidently with various stakeholders.
- Language Skills: You have native-level German language skills, both written and spoken.
