Your Responsibilities

As an Accounting Specialist, you'll take on a key role in our accounting team during a maternity leave cover. You'll support AP and AR operations and collaborate closely with colleagues from Germany and the US.

• Reviewing, coding, and posting incoming invoices in our ERP system (NetSuite)
• Matching invoices with purchase orders and goods receipts (3-way match)
• Managing payment runs and due dates
• Apply customer payments to invoices and record deductions
• Process customer refunds for payment approval
• Supporting monthly and year-end closings
• Daily communication in German and English
• Regular meetings with colleagues in US - this requires availability for late afternoon meetings at least once per week

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Completed commercial training or equivalent background
• Several years of experience in accounts payable
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) and strong Excel skills
• Good English skills for daily communication in our international team (you don't have to be perfect, but should feel confident communicating)
• A self-driven, reliable working style and a collaborative mindset
