We offer you the position of Head of Global Accounting (m/f/d) in direct placement at an internationally successful and traditional industrial company in the tool industry based in Remscheid, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for global accounting, leadership, and further development of the international accounting team
• Preparation and quality assurance of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB) as well as further development of global standards
• Responsibility for accounting policies, internal controls, and compliance
• Sparring partner for the CFO and central point of contact for auditors, consultants, and international stakeholders
• Tax responsibility for German companies, including support for tax audits
• Management of the group-wide insurance program and leadership of special projects in the accounting and finance area
• Liquidity management, financing, and currency hedging
• Optimization and harmonization of global finance processes and tools

Profile:

• Successfully completed degree in business administration with a focus on Finance/Accounting or a comparable qualification
• Several years of practical experience in international accounting, preferably in an industrial environment
• Very good knowledge of accounting according to HGB
• Experience in leading teams and motivation to develop employees in a targeted manner
• Strong process understanding and high affinity for digital solutions and ERP systems
• Ideally, experience with SAP and LucaNet
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken
