Role Description

A top-tier UK-headquartered firm is seeking two Patent Attorneys (Engineering) based in Munich, with some flexibility to work from home. The primary responsibilities include drafting and preparing patent applications, assessing patentability, managing patent-related legal matters, and conducting due diligence. The Patent Attorney will work closely with clients to ensure technical and legal accuracy, providing strategic advice and solutions for intellectual property protection.

Qualifications

• Qualified German and European patent attorney
• Expertise in Patent Applications, including drafting and filing processes
• Strong knowledge of Patent Preparation and Patent Law, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Experience in assessing patentability and intellectual property potential
• Proficiency in conducting Due Diligence for intellectual property matters
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• A degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
• Previous experience in the intellectual property field or patent-related roles
• Proficiency in English (required); German or other European languages are a plus
