Responsibilities

As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and expanding customer relationships in a technical and demanding market. You will play a central role in sales and contribute significantly to the company's revenue growth.

  • New Customer Acquisition: Identification and approach of potential new customers in the B2B sector, especially in the process and plant construction industry.
  • Sales of Technical Products/Solutions: You understand the technical requirements of customers and offer tailor-made solutions from our portfolio.
  • Sales Strategy and Market Analysis: Development and implementation of sales strategies, market analyses, and competitor observations to identify growth potential.
  • Contract Negotiations: You conduct complex contract negotiations independently at the decision-maker level and convince with your negotiation skills and technical expertise.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Close cooperation with the technical and marketing departments to precisely implement customer requirements.
  • Target-Oriented Sales Responsibility: Responsibility for achieving sales targets and revenue results, as well as reporting to sales management.
  • Trade Fairs and Events: Participation in relevant trade fairs, conferences, and events to represent the company and products and to generate new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in sales of technical products and solutions from the software industry, preferably in the process industry and/or plant construction.
  • Technical Education: Completed studies in engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable technical qualification.
  • Sales Experience: Sound experience in acquiring and managing customers in a technical environment, ideally in a similar industry.
  • Communication Skills: You have the ability to explain technical concepts understandably and to grasp complex customer needs and translate them into solutions.
  • Negotiation Skills: You possess excellent negotiation skills and are able to create long-term partnerships as well as close short-term deals.
  • Results Orientation: You are a goal-oriented and self-motivated sales professional capable of independently achieving sales and growth targets.
  • Willingness to Travel: Willingness to travel regularly for customer appointments and trade fairs.
  • Language Skills: Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken; further language skills are an advantage.
