The Role
For our Collections Team, we are looking for a Paralegal / Rechtsanwaltsfachangestellte (m/f/d) for our office in Frankfurt am Main (hybrid work possible).
We offer flexible part-time models so that you can optimally combine work and family.
In this central role, you will be an important part of our German Operations department and take responsibility for your own customer portfolio. Your main task will be the independent development and implementation of a tailor-made recovery strategy for each individual case in order to achieve the best possible solution for the company and the customer. This includes judicial dunning procedures, insolvency management, and enforcement under German law.
You will work closely with our experienced paralegal, the Collections Agents, the Head of Collections, and our external law firms. In addition to processing your own portfolio, you will actively shape our processes and contribute to high service quality and compliance.

Some of Your Typical Activities and Tasks
- Independent development, coordination, and implementation of an individual recovery strategy for each customer account, from the pre-litigation phase to successful collection.
- Active negotiation with customers regarding payment plans, settlements, and payment terms, both in writing (letter, email) and by phone.
- Conducting all written and telephone correspondence with customers, courts, lawyers, and bailiffs.
- Preparation and submission of applications for dunning and enforcement orders, as well as other judicial applications.
- Independent processing of enforcement.
- Management and technical support of our external law firms and other service providers.
- Support in insolvency proceedings (claims registration, monitoring).
- Maintenance and updating of our systems, as well as participation in the further development of templates and processes.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable law, internal guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
The Most Important Things About You
- Completed training as a Rechtsanwaltsfachangestellter, Rechtsanwalts- und Notarfachangestellter, business lawyer, or comparable qualification.
- At least 3-5 years of practical experience in receivables management, with judicial dunning procedures and enforcement.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills in dealing with debtors.
- Very good knowledge of German civil procedure law (ZPO) and the procedures in judicial dunning and enforcement proceedings.
- Careful, structured, and deadline-oriented way of working, as well as an eye for detail.
- Enjoy working independently while collaborating closely with colleagues and external partners.
- Confident and strong communication skills in German; you use English for internal documentation and meetings.
- Openness to new processes and systems, willingness to participate in shaping and further development.
