SCADA Engineer

Join one of the leading on-shore renewable energy developers in Germany. We are looking for an experienced SCADA Systems Design Engineer to join our innovative team. This role is essential for designing, implementing, and optimizing SCADA solutions for dynamic projects across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• SCADA System Design: Architect, develop, and implement SCADA systems tailored to project specifications.
• Configuration & Integration: Configure SCADA platforms and integrate them with field devices, sensors, and PLCs.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure system reliability, efficiency, and scalability through rigorous testing and fine-tuning.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve system issues to maintain seamless operations.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
• Documentation: Prepare technical documents, manuals, and project reports to support system functionality and compliance.
• Security Management: Apply cybersecurity protocols to protect SCADA systems from external threats.
• Training & Support: Provide training and ongoing support for end-users to maximize system performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 8 years in SCADA systems design and implementation.
• Expertise in SCADA platforms such as Wonderware, Ignition, or Siemens WinCC.
• Solid understanding of PLC programming, HMI design, and industrial communication protocols.
• Familiarity with networking, cybersecurity principles, and database systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience in Utility sector is an added advantage.
• Relevant certifications in SCADA systems or industrial automation are a plus.
