Your Role: SAP BTP Frontend Software Engineer (m/f/d)

You will be employed company-wide at the headquarters as an SAP BTP Cloud Software Engineer (m/f/d). You will work closely in a small team on exciting SAP S/4 HANA new implementations within project management and/or in supporting existing customers. No prior SAP S/4 HANA knowledge is required, as training will be provided through internal training, coaching, the SAP E-Learning Hub, certifications, and on-the-job training. You will also work on SAP projects involving the integration of complex business processes in SAP systems in collaboration with business departments. The company operates on a first-name basis ("Du-Kultur").

Work Environment & Flexibility

The role can be performed from your home office and/or the Potsdam location, with potential on-site customer work. You will be part of the SAP BTP Cloud projects, with colleagues supporting other SAP core modules. Your Day-to-Day

You will develop and design applications in the Fiori/UI5 environment and mobile enterprise solutions for digitalization with SAP. You will utilize BTP services such as Business Application Studio, HTML5 Repository, and SAP Build Apps. You will apply low-code scenarios like CDS-Views (including Fiori Elements) with the design of virtual data models and use integration scenarios from the BTP Integration Suite. Tasks include requirement analysis, conception, and creation of processes, components, IT systems, technology stacks, and development environments, as well as go-live support for components and architecture solutions.

Your Profile

• Practical experience and enthusiasm for project work, training junior and senior colleagues, understanding and solving customer support needs and problems, and convincing them of the added value.
• Ideally, training in the SAP environment or a university degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
• Very good skills in modeling and developing frontends with frameworks like SAP UI5, Angular, or React.
• Solution-oriented with creativity.
• Experience with CDS-Views, Fiori Elements, and their annotations.
• Sound knowledge of BTP Business Application Studio and implementation in Multitarget Applications.
• Familiarity with solution finding using Design Thinking and understanding of RESTful Web Services/oData.
• High degree of independence, organizational talent, resilience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
• Team player with self-confidence, self-awareness, and strong communication skills.
• Good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
