Job Description:

Your Responsibilities:

• In this position, you will develop the vision and roadmap for our IT products in the areas of simulation (CAE) and testing at the heart of our IT department. The focus will be on the strategic further development of the simulation landscape and the optimization of the cross-tool application portfolio outside the operational departments.
• As a strategic interface between business and IT, you will translate complex business requirements (e.g., for HPC clusters or measurement data management) into technical concepts and a prioritized IT backlog.
• You will lead projects to support our business unit on the path to AI and simulation-driven development. By providing state-of-the-art IT solutions, you will optimize development speed and strengthen the innovative power of our engineers.
• You will be the main player in an international, agile team (internal/external) and see yourself as a driving force who coordinates the implementation of technical concepts and motivates the team.
• In addition, you will consolidate our tool landscape (including NI Diadem/LabVIEW) and proactively help build the new IT service "Testing & Validation" as a scalable platform solution.

Your Profile:

• A completed technical degree (e.g., Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering) or an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience.
• Profound knowledge and experience in operating engineering applications for numerical simulation and testing (e.g., Ansys Suite, Moldex3D, or Altair HyperWorks).
• You are familiar with the processes and tool landscape surrounding test and trial procedures (e.g., NI Diadem/ NI Labview).
• Deep understanding of the entire IT service lifecycle according to ITIL (from service requirement and design to operation and support).
• Knowledge in the integration of applications into a CAD/PLM environment.
• Fluent German and English skills (minimum C1).
• Experience in agile project management and agile working methods.
• You are characterized by a high degree of initiative and a proactive, strategic mindset. You always look beyond the obvious to identify future developments early on.
