To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for you as a

Sales Representative Field Service (m/f/d) Conveyor Technology

The tasks of this position range from acquiring new customers to looking after our existing customer base. We are looking for an enthusiastic and sales-driven personality who brings both technical understanding and a good demeanor towards customers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Proactive, independent support, as well as product-related technical advice and assistance to our customers in Southern Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
  • Field service activity with home office as the place of work, ideally in the Munich, Stuttgart, or Nuremberg region
  • First point of contact for all customer inquiries
  • Independent acquisition of new customers in your sales region
  • Independent processing of your projects, both technically and commercially, from calculation and offer negotiation to order placement
  • Follow-up of offers, handover of projects to production / technology
  • Documentation of sales activities, data maintenance in our ERP system, and use and maintenance of our CRM system
  • Close cooperation with the sales manager in a sales tandem for intensive customer care and to increase market penetration in your sales region
  • Preparation and participation in trade fairs
  • Reporting to sales management and managing directors

Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed technical or business studies in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, process engineering, or comparable; alternatively, completed training and further education as a technician
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding as well as a passion for sales
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in technical sales, ideally in general mechanical engineering, conveyor technology, or handling technology
  • High willingness to travel
  • Fluent German language skills, good English skills (B2)
  • Strong communication skills, team spirit, service orientation, and enjoyment of customer contact
  • Confident use of MS Office and good knowledge of ERP systems
  • Driver's license class B
  • Independent, structured, and team-oriented way of working, as well as a high degree of organizational skill and communication strength
