MLOps Engineer – Azure & AI/ML Platforms (m/f/d)

At KI Performance, we move AI from experimentation to production. As an MLOps Engineer -- Azure & AI/ML Platforms, you will be responsible for deploying, operating, and scaling AI/ML systems in production, including LLM-based solutions, within enterprise environments.

This role extends classic DevOps with strong AI, data, and model lifecycle ownership. We are looking for engineers who can deliver immediate impact and operate AI systems reliably from day one.

Your responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate MLOps platforms on Azure for enterprise-scale AI systems
• Deploy, monitor, and manage AI/ML models in production, including LLMs
• Build and maintain MLOps pipelines covering training, deployment, versioning, and rollback
• Implement model monitoring, logging, performance tracking, and lifecycle management
• Integrate AI systems with Azure ML, Databricks, and secure permission/group management
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, AI engineers, and product teams
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance of AI workloads in production

Your profile

• Strong experience in DevOps and MLOps within Azure environments
• Hands-on experience with Azure ML, Databricks, and AI/ML pipelines
• Proven experience deploying and operating AI/ML models in production
• Solid understanding of model versioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management
• Experience with CI/CD for ML systems
• Ability to operate independently and deliver value with minimal onboarding
• Clear communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs, GenAI, or AI agents in production
• Background in enterprise data platforms or large-scale analytics environments
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and modern lakehouse architectures
