We are looking for a Key Account Manager (m/w/d) to strength our OEM sales activities in Munich. You will be responsible for managing and expanding business relationships with leading global automotive manufactures.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary commercial interface between Kongsberg Automotive and key customer accounts by taking ownership of strategic business development and long-term relationship management
  • Drive sustainable profitable growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities with key customers
  • Oversee all commercial aspects of the accounts, including strategy development, sales activities, forecasting, and reporting
  • Lead and coordinate initiatives with cross functional teams (R&D, Operations, Finance and Purchasing) to deliver value driven customer results
  • Develop strong customer relationships with both existing and new customer accounts
  • Manage commercials activities including RFQ´s, commercial negotiations, price strategy, contractual agreements
  • Analyze market and technology trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and translate insights into the commercial strategy and product planning
  • Take responsibility for achieving account sales targets, new business development, sales budget & forecasting, and commercial excellence
  • Represent Kongsberg Automotive on internal and external forums, acting as the voice of customer

Requirements

  • Bachelor´s degree in engineering, business or a related field, with 5-7 years' experience in B2B Sales, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Proven track record in OEM account management, including closing deals and managing complex customer interfaces
  • Strong business acumen structured analytical thinking with a fast-paced customer focused attitude
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong contributor to international, cross-functional teams
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
  • Valid class B driver's license
  • Willing to travel up to 30% of time
  • This position is based at our office in Munich
