THIS IS YOUR JOB

The purchasing team is responsible for our global product portfolio, ensuring product availability at competitive prices and, in collaboration with sales, for strategic volume planning. As a purchaser, you will act independently for the Electronics product group. Your responsibilities include:

• Responsibility for specific suppliers or supplier groups
• Requirements determination and volume planning
• Entry of new orders and complete order processing
• Independent consideration of delivery bottlenecks when ordering; identification of problem products and order-related orders
• Processing of inter-company orders
• Monitoring and maintenance of delivery dates and their communication to sales
• Maintenance of reorder levels
• Checking and releasing supplier invoices
• Customs clearance for the import of goods deliveries to Germany or the EU for IC orders

• Basic commercial knowledge, e.g., through training in wholesale, freight forwarding, or industry
• Professional experience in procurement management/dispatching
• Good technical understanding and the willingness to familiarize yourself with our product portfolio
• Negotiation-proof English skills
