Responsibilities

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
• Account reconciliations, booking of provisions, and accruals/deferrals
• Preparation of VAT pre-declarations and other tax-related reports
• Monitoring and optimization of accounting processes
• Support during audits and provision of necessary documentation for auditors
• Preparation of financial reports and analyses for internal departments and management
• Participation in projects for process improvement and digitalization in accounting

Profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally with further training as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting and annual financial statement preparation
• Sound knowledge of HGB and ideally IFRS (not a must)
• Confident use of MS Office (especially Excel) and experience with ERP systems
• Analytical thinking, structured, and independent way of working
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
• Teamwork, strong communication skills, and proactive mindset
