Your Role

Actively shape mobility in the region and throughout NRW. Whether on the roads around the Ostwestfalen-Lippe region, along important commuter routes, or in the regional cycle path network – we build roads for life. Become part of our team as a Civil Engineer*in (m/f/d) for Planning, Construction, or Operations and Traffic and take responsibility for a high-performance infrastructure right outside your front door.

Your Tasks and Opportunities

  • Project work in all planning phases of particularly complex projects in the areas of planning,
  • Road/cycle path construction,
  • Bridge construction, and
  • Operations and traffic
  • Coordination with specialist authorities and associations
  • Preparation and processing of engineering contracts and supervision of engineering firms
  • Detailed planning
  • Preparation of tender documents
  • Support of tender procedures
  • Contract management

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering (focus on Civil Engineering/Construction), Geography with work in the described area of responsibility, or equivalent (Diplom (FH)/Bachelor), OR
  • Qualification for career level 2, first entry level in the technical service, AND
  • At least three years of practical experience in the above-mentioned area at career level 2, first entry level, or equivalent.
  • For applications in the field of bridge construction, a specialization in structural engineering within the civil engineering studies must be proven.
  • For positions in operations and traffic, a completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or STEM is also suitable.
