We are the number one point of contact for federal and state roads or cycle paths in Germany's most populous state. We are Straßen.NRW. A central, modern mobility service provider, yet we are present throughout the country – on site. Your Role

Actively shape mobility in the region and throughout NRW. Whether on the roads around the Ostwestfalen-Lippe region, along important commuter routes, or in the regional cycle path network – we build roads for life. Become part of our team as a Civil Engineer*in (m/f/d) for Planning, Construction, or Operations and Traffic and take responsibility for a high-performance infrastructure right outside your front door.

Your Tasks and Opportunities

Project work in all planning phases of particularly complex projects in the areas of planning,
Road/cycle path construction,
Bridge construction, and
Operations and traffic
Coordination with specialist authorities and associations
Preparation and processing of engineering contracts and supervision of engineering firms
Detailed planning
Preparation of tender documents
Support of tender procedures
Contract management

Your Profile

Completed studies in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering (focus on Civil Engineering/Construction), Geography with work in the described area of responsibility, or equivalent (Diplom (FH)/Bachelor), OR
Qualification for career level 2, first entry level in the technical service, AND
At least three years of practical experience in the above-mentioned area at career level 2, first entry level, or equivalent.
For applications in the field of bridge construction, a specialization in structural engineering within the civil engineering studies must be proven.
For positions in operations and traffic, a completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or STEM is also suitable.
