Responsibilities

  • Ensure systematic inventory and requirements analysis.
  • Design technical implementation and create operational concepts.
  • Integrate the data platform into the municipal IT infrastructure and coordinate external service providers.
  • Actively contribute to compliance with governance and security requirements.
  • Ensure the openness, extensibility, scalability, and future viability of solutions.
  • Realize concepts, transition them to productive operation, and develop small software applications.

Requirements

Must have:

  • Completed university degree (Bachelor's), preferably in Computer Science.
  • Applicants with a comparable field of study and several years of relevant professional experience are also welcome.
  • For foreign degrees, a German recognition (e.g., "Führung Titel Ingenieur/-in") or proof of equivalent qualification is required.
  • For certificates and degrees not issued in German, translation by sworn interpreters/translators is necessary.
  • Experience with OpenShift, relational databases, and a good understanding of complex, interconnected systems.
  • Proficiency in German (minimum C1 level) in spoken and written form.

Advantageous:

  • Knowledge in software development (Java, Python), GitLab, Mage, Airflow, OpenMetaData, Gravitee, Nifi, Keycloak, Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Experience with complex municipal structures.
  • Strong customer orientation, strategic-analytical thinking, and quick comprehension.
  • Results-oriented, resilient, and eager-to-learn work approach.
