Shopify Themes

Development of custom storefronts (themes) with server-side rendered templates using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Headless E-Commerce Architecture

The frontend consists of a single-page application developed with React and Next.js.

Shopify Apps (Plugins)

Development of Shopify Apps, both in the backend with Ruby on Rails and in the frontend with React. We create our own Shopify apps as well as plugins for other software providers and merchants.

• Architektur und Entwicklung anspruchsvoller Shopify-Frontend-Lösungen für unsere Kunden.
• Custom Shopify-Themes entwickeln und optimieren mit modernsten Technologien.
• Headless Commerce mit Shopify Hydrogen und React implementieren.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit UI/UX-Designern, Backend-Entwicklern und Kunden zur Umsetzung komplexer Anforderungen.
• Integration von APIs und Third-Party-Services.
• Optimierung der Ladezeiten, SEO und Performance unter Berücksichtigung von Core Web Vitals.
• Sicherstellung von Barrierefreiheit (WCAG 2.1) für zugängliche und inklusive Online-Shops.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Durchführung von Code-Reviews, Implementierung automatisierter Tests.

Your Responsibilities

• Architect and develop sophisticated Shopify frontend solutions for our clients.
• Develop and optimize custom Shopify themes using modern technologies.
• Implement headless commerce solutions with Shopify Hydrogen and React/Next.js.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and clients to meet complex requirements.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services (e.g., payment, search, CRM, PIM, ERP).
• Optimize load times, SEO, and performance in line with Core Web Vitals.
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.1) for inclusive and user-friendly online stores.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews and implement automated tests.

Dein Profil

Must-have

• Fundierte Erfahrung mit Shopify (Liquid, Shopify CLI, Shopify API)
• HTML, CSS (SASS, Tailwind) und JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
• React (insbesondere für Headless Shopify-Anwendungen)
• Shopify Hydrogen und Storefront API
• Erfahrung mit E-Commerce-Technologien und Best Practices
• Verständnis für Barrierefreiheit (ARIA, WCAG 2.1, Lighthouse Accessibility Scores)
• Kenntnisse in UX/UI und Erfahrung mit Design-Tools wie Figma
• Fließende Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch oder Englisch (Wort & Schrift)
• Wohnsitz innerhalb der EU

Nice-to-have

• Erfahrung mit Tailwind CSS oder Styled Components
• Grundlegende Kenntnisse in Ruby on Rails (zur Anpassung von Shopify-Funktionen)
• Kenntnisse in GraphQL (Shopify Storefront API, Admin API)
• Erfahrung mit Performance-Optimierung für Shopify-Themes

Your Profile

Must-have

• Extensive experience with Shopify (Liquid, Shopify CLI, Shopify API)
• HTML, CSS (SASS, Tailwind), and JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
• React (especially for headless Shopify applications)
• Shopify Hydrogen and Storefront API
• Experience with e-commerce technologies and best practices
• Understanding of accessibility (ARIA, WCAG 2.1, Lighthouse Accessibility Scores)
• Knowledge of UX/UI and experience with design tools like Figma
• Fluent in German or English (spoken and written)
• Residence within the EU

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Tailwind CSS or Styled Components
• Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails (for modifying Shopify functionalities)
• Knowledge of GraphQL (Shopify Storefront API, Admin API)
• Experience in performance optimization for Shopify themes
