Maesn enables SaaS companies to quickly add ERP- and accounting integrations to their product, making it easy for their customers to access their data seamlessly. We work in close collaboration with our customers to understand their needs and get feedback on the new features we release from day one.

As a young dynamic SaaS Startup born in Düsseldorf, with a remote-first mindset. We believe in working hard and having fun while doing it. You will work in an exciting and fast-paced startup environment, get the chance to work on all parts of our technology stack and with frequent exposure to customers and partners. This role will work directly with our CTO, Lennart Svensson, and the wider founder team.

Maesn is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our core engineering team. You will work on all parts of our tech stack, help drive the development of our internal development platform as well as work on infrastructure topics as we scale the company. Your work as a Software Engineer in a company that creates software for other software companies, will be both high-value and high-impact.

Tasks

Things change quickly in a start-up and the tasks you have today, may look very different a few months down the road. What remains constant, is a high level of professionalism paired with a high degree of autonomy in your day-to-day work and, most importantly, close collaboration with a team where we support each other at all times.

What you will do:

• With developer-experience and scalability in mind, work with the rest of the engineering team to produce highly performant architecture and code that is crucial for the operation of our customers every day
• Produce high-quality, production-ready, maintainable code, tests and documentation
• Participate in roadmapping, architecture, and planning discussions
• Unblock and support your team of peers
• Work directly with the engineers of our customers to onboard them on our product, enable their development and support them

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of software development experience in a professional setting
• Profound experience with Javascript/Typescript
• Experience with configuring, deploying and operating cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)
• Previous experience from working in a SaaS company would be an asset
• Deep knowledge of integration technologies: OAuth, REST, SOAP, GraphQL, XML-based APIs, etc
• Ability to own the planning, design and implementation of entire features
• Resilient and able to work under pressure. Work in a start-up requires flexibility to work overtime and uncomfortable hours in certain periods
• Most important of all, is that you are a team-player, highly motivated and a fast learner who will adapt and thrive in a setting where things change dramatically and rapidly

• The cash compensation range for this role is €75.000 - €95.000 OTE and equity
• Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and certifications
