Network Engineer (m/f/x)

Your mission

• You analyze and resolve network issues in collaboration with colleagues from other teams.
• You optimize our global internet backbone and prepare it for future demands.
• You monitor our network environment and perform performance analyses.
• You automate recurring network processes.
• You ensure stable production operations and secure out-of-band management.
• You protect our networks from unauthorized access.
• You communicate with service providers and evaluate new network products for their suitability.

Your profile

• You have at least two years of professional experience in network administration.
• You have in-depth knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols (e.g., VLAN, IP, BGP, IS-IS).
• You have initial hands-on experience with modern network fabrics such as VXLAN and BGP-EVPN.
• You have basic knowledge of network task automation using Ansible, Python, or similar tools.
• You are highly familiar with Juniper hardware (MX routers, QFX/EX switches).
• You are confident working in Linux environments and have basic knowledge of virtualization technologies.
• You approach challenges analytically and with a solution-oriented mindset.
• You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken. German is a plus, but not a must.
