Project Engineer (m/f/d)
for Materials and Tribology
Your Responsibilities:
- Leading project management from initiation, planning, through to execution, with a focus on materials technology, tribology, and manufacturing processes.
- Analysis and evaluation of metallurgical and tribological issues, particularly corrosion and high temperatures, within new developments or expert reports, considering climate-neutral fuels.
- International technical customer support.
- Optimization of manufacturing processes from a materials technology perspective, in collaboration with simulation and process specialists.
- Active participation in the conception, coordination, and management of multilateral research projects with universities and research institutions.
- Advising and providing internal training to specialist departments on materials science and processes.
Your Profile:
- Completed engineering degree in materials science, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field of study.
- Several years of professional experience in the application of metallurgy and related report generation.
- Experience in project leadership and project management.
- Analytical, solution-oriented work style, initiative, and a high degree of teamwork and communication skills.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
