About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Web Developer to help design, build, and enhance modern web applications. This role focuses heavily on JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, while also contributing to backend architecture and API development.
Role Overview
As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will take ownership of both frontend and backend development. You'll work on scalable web applications, collaborate across teams, and contribute to technical decisions that shape the product.
Core Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in web application development
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
- Experience working with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Bun)
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern frontend practices
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
- Interest in areas such as personal development and financial education
- Motivation to contribute to meaningful, impact-driven work
- Ability to think creatively and contribute ideas beyond assigned tasks
Nice to have (not mandatory):
- Experience with WordPress, PHP, AWS
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Develop and integrate backend services and APIs
- Work closely with designers and developers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Improve performance and maintain existing systems
- Participate in code reviews and uphold development standards
- Contribute to WordPress development and customization (where applicable)
- Provide technical support and assist team members with IT-related challenges

Experience Required
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience
Remote Work Policy
- Up to 46 remote working days per year (approx. one day per week)
- Flexible usage --- no fixed office or remote schedule
- Maximum of 5 consecutive remote days per month
- Up to 5 remote days can be used as a "workation" within the EU
