Key Account Manager - Hamburg Area

Our client, an innovative US-based biopharmaceutical company, is expanding into Europe --- with Germany as one of its first strategic markets.

They are preparing for the launch of a novel therapy for Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), a rare and complex genetic disease with significant unmet need. This is a unique opportunity to join at ground level and help build the German organization from pre-launch through commercialization.

🔎 Your Mission

As KAM Germany, you will:

  • Lead regional pre-launch and launch execution
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for university hospitals and specialized PWS centers
  • Engage pediatric endocrinologists, multidisciplinary care teams, and hospital stakeholders
  • Act as the key commercial partner for your accounts

This is a high-visibility role with strong cross-functional exposure in a growing European setup.

👤 What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years pharmaceutical experience in Germany
  • Proven success as a Key Account Manager
  • Must have experience: Rare Disease experience, ideally within a pre-launch or launch setting
  • Rare disease and/or specialty care background
  • Launch experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of the German healthcare and reimbursement landscape
  • Fluent German
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build structures from scratch
