Project Management & Financial Controlling (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the holistic planning, management, and implementation of consulting, infrastructure, and innovation projects.
• Establishment, operation, and further development of PMO structures to ensure standardized methods and transparent project management.
• Management of project budgets, cost tracking, forecasts, and variance analyses to ensure economic viability.
• Execution of project-related financial controlling, including target-actual comparisons and financial risk assessment.
• Coordination and administration of publicly funded projects, grants, and subsidies in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Creation of management reports, dashboards, and documents for steering committees with a focus on progress and finances.
• Monitoring of project risks, dependencies, and resource utilization, as well as initiation of appropriate countermeasures.
• Central interface function between management, finance, business units, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Ensuring audit-proof documentation, structured reporting, and compliance.
• Further development and optimization of processes and digital tools in the project management and controlling environment.
• Support of strategic decisions through data-based analyses, scenario planning, and financial forecasts.

Your Profile:

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
• Professional experience in project management, PMO, or project/financial controlling, ideally in a consulting or IT environment.
• Very good knowledge of budget planning, forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
• Practical experience with MS Project, Excel, ERP systems, and DATEV is an advantage.
• Structured, analytical approach to work, as well as strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good language skills in German and English.
• Negotiation-level and eloquent German and English skills.
