Project Manager (m/f/d)
Your Role
As a Project Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for our projects from planning through to successful implementation. You will combine organizational skills with technical expertise, lead engineering tasks independently, and coordinate construction sites and commissioning. You will ensure that complex plants function efficiently and reliably, acting as the central interface between customers, interdisciplinary teams, and partners.
Your Responsibilities

Project Management:
- Planning, execution, and control of projects, primarily in the steel industry.
- Coordination of interdisciplinary teams, sometimes comprising employees from various locations.
- Close collaboration with our other locations to coordinate and integrate project teams.

Project Involvement:
- Undertaking engineering tasks (e.g., detailed planning, technical clarifications, programming).
- Managing construction sites, including the coordination of assembly and third-party companies.
- Accompanying and carrying out on-site commissioning.
- Creating technical documentation.
- Conducting training for operating personnel on safe and efficient plant operation.
Your Profile
- You have successfully completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable field, and possess several years of experience in project management, ideally within the automation industry. You will leverage this experience with us and further develop it in collaboration with colleagues.
- In-depth knowledge of automation systems (switchgear, drive technology, control and supervisory systems).
- Experience in engineering processes, construction site coordination, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with industrial plants, organizational structures, and a practical, solution-oriented approach – ideally in the steel industry.
- Knowledge and certification in common project management methodologies.
- Willingness to travel for construction site and commissioning assignments; valid driver's license class B.
- Excellent German and English language skills.
