About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Partnerships (Corporate & Civil Society) to join our More in Common Germany team in Berlin as soon as possible. This is a full-time position (80-100%) for someone eager to work at the intersection of business and society, translating our research findings into practical learning and dissemination formats for corporations and civil society. The position is initially limited to two years, with the prospect of long-term collaboration.

About Us

More in Common is a non-profit organization with teams in Germany, the USA, the UK, France, Poland, Spain, and Brazil working to strengthen social cohesion. The name of our organization reflects our vision: we aim to contribute to a resilient and inclusive society where people see that what connects them is more than what divides them. Our goal is a society capable of responding to societal changes and maintaining its ability to compromise and resolve conflicts.

In Germany, our work is positioned between research and practice: using socio-psychological opinion research, we strive to better understand societal dynamics and identify which issues influence cohesion. In offerings such as the "Workshop for Society & Future," we translate our research findings into practical dissemination and consulting formats for companies and civil society organizations. We learn from experiences and good approaches from practice, feed them back into new research, and share our findings with the broader public through digital tools and materials, our workshop magazine, as well as lectures, articles, and interviews. We continuously question, learn, and experiment with partners from administration/politics, business, civil society, and the media to determine which approaches are effective in strengthening social cohesion.

Your Responsibilities

As an Associate Partnerships (Corporate & Civil Society), you will support our operational dissemination, training, and partnership work, particularly project management within the "Workshop for Society & Future." You will be in close contact with the entire team as well as the research and communication departments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Management: Setting up and implementing project and time plans, research work and content preparation, coordinating team appointments, shipping and distribution of our products, communication with partners.
  • Event Management: Planning, scheduling, and implementing webinars, workshops, and lectures (including participant management, bookings, etc.).
  • Contact Management: Further developing digital contact management, building our collaboration with new partner organizations.
  • Conceptualization: Supporting the further development of our training and dissemination approaches in the workshop, e.g., research and content preparation for blended learning formats, the workshop magazine, the podcast.
  • Dissemination: Implementing webinars and workshops for companies and civil society organizations, supporting the practical application of our research findings.

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in a company or a corporate-related environment (e.g., consulting, strategy, transformation, management, social entrepreneurship, corporate networks).
  • University degree/higher education/completed vocational training.
  • High operational implementation strength and a "hands-on mentality."
  • Very good understanding of corporate logic and ideally initial experience with civil society organizations.
  • Excellent sensitivity and interest in societal issues.
  • Enjoy engaging with research, quickly grasping complex content, and translating it into compelling, practical formats.
  • Confident, professional demeanor and interest in independently coordinating and conducting digital and analog workshops and webinars.
  • Experience in independently managing parallel workstreams and enjoyment of collaboration in changing small project teams.
  • Enjoy systematizing contacts and building new partnerships (Bonus: network in business and/or civil society).
