Overview
This role sits within the Global Marketing Group and works in close collaboration with the Chemicals Business and its subsidiaries to shape and deliver new growth initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying and developing new markets, products and technology, and customer opportunities on a global scale.

The Global Marketing Group is a dynamic, cross functional, and international team within the Nippon Kayaku Chemicals Business Unit, offering exposure to diverse markets and cultures worldwide.

Job Function
- Develop and execute market strategies, setting clear visions and priorities, and effectively communicating these with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Operate effectively within a diverse, multicultural organisation, applying strong business acumen to define growth initiatives and manage structured plans based on technical needs to achieve agreed objectives.
- Proactively identify and evaluate new business opportunities within assigned advanced materials and chemicals markets.
- Demonstrate a dynamic, proactive approach with the drive and confidence to engage and influence key decision makers.
- Analyse and interpret markets and technology trends, translating insights into actionable opportunities aligned with the Nippon Kayaku Group's product portfolio and strategic scope
- Generate and champion new business ideas that support sustainable business growth.
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers, clearly articulating and demonstrating the value proposition of Nippon Kayaku and our technologies.
- Collaborate closely with prospective customer technical and management teams to stay informed of future product and technology development cycles.
- Formulate robust internal and external proposals based on the company's technical capabilities, market needs, and overall business strategy.
- Support product launches and market entry activities, working across technical, commercial, and channel partners in this broad and cross functional role.
- Drive strategic customer and partner relationships, securing early stage technology adoption, design ins, and long term collaboration aligned with Nippon Kayaku future product and application roadmaps.
Qualifications and Experience

Business or Technical Degree. Or equivalent commercial experience and knowledge.

Commercial and / or technical experience in any of the following disciplines is desired;
- Inkjet Technologies and Inkjet Inks
- Polarizers, Retarders and optical films
- Thermoset resin technology for Advanced Materials Markets
- Electronic Materials / Semiconductors, CFRP materials and Polymers, Display Technologies

Significant Industry Experience; 7+ years B2B related sales or technical experience.

History of working in a multicultural and matrix style organisation.

Fluent in Written and Spoken English.

Ability to travel within Europe ~25-30%. Some global travel will be required.

Remote / Home Office Position: Germany or United Kingdom. Or office based in Frankfurt, Germany.
