Marketing Project Manager (m/f/d)

Einleitung

We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Marketing Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our team as soon as possible. This hybrid role combines the operational efficiency of a project manager with the strategic oversight and outstanding organizational skills required to manage key cross-functional marketing projects and collaborations with the Product, Front-End, and BI teams. You will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of high-priority initiatives, providing structured support, and maintaining alignment with the VP's strategic vision.

Example Projects

• Coordinating Marketing tasks for the launch of a new game update, online events, physical events, new game integrations and making sure that all tasks from the varying Marketing units come together in the end.
• Representing Marketing in the conceptualization and execution of a new feature of Marketing interest such as a website redesign, tracking features, integration of 3rd party tools...
• Conduct market research to understand gamer needs, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies to discuss new projects with the VP of Marketing.

Your mission

• Act as the Marketing's representative in operationally strategic meetings and push for updates while ensuring alignment on key decisions.
• Oversee and manage inter-unit and inter-departmental projects, including marketing initiatives that require collaboration among teams.
• Organize, track, and report on project progress using tools such as Asana and Looker Studio.
• Facilitate communication and updates through Slack channels, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
• Prepare reports and summaries to keep the VP of Marketing informed of project developments and outcomes.
• Develop a strong understanding of marketing activities and campaigns to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Handle operational tasks such as scheduling, task prioritization, and follow-ups to ensure deadlines are met.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.

Your profile

• 2--4 years of experience in project management or a similar role.
• A basic understanding of marketing principles and operations.
• Proficiency in project management tools (Asana) and data visualization tools (Looker Studio).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• German language proficiency is a plus but not required.
• Solid understanding of game server hosting concepts (latency, DDOS protection, mod support, server locations).
• Strong organizational and reporting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Initiative-driven with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities.
• Highly reliable and trustworthy, with a natural inclination to maintain alignment with leadership goals.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and team alignment.
• Familiarity with popular multiplayer games like Minecraft, ARK, Rust, Valheim, Conan Exiles, etc
• Bonus: Experience running or managing game servers or communities (e.g., on Discord or Steam).
