THE POSITION

The Sales Manager will be a strategic, results-driven professional focused on increasing revenue and market share for Odyssey Hotel Group's portfolio within the designated region of middle Germany. The role involves developing and implementing proactive sales strategies, cultivating strong client relationships, and identifying new market opportunities. This is a key position in supporting the company's ambitious growth plans in Germany.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute targeted sales plans that align with regional and national goals. Focus areas include group business, corporate accounts, MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions), and leisure opportunities.
  • Portfolio Representation: Promote and sell multiple branded properties across the Odyssey portfolio within your region, positioning each hotel's unique strengths to prospective clients.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to monitor trends, identify opportunities, and stay ahead of competition. Use insights to refine sales approaches and strategy.
  • Client Acquisition & Management: Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, DMCs, and event organizers.
  • Sales Activities: Generate leads, conduct site inspections, prepare tailored proposals, and negotiate contracts to secure bookings and long-term agreements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with hotel general managers, revenue, marketing, and operational teams to ensure aligned efforts and seamless client experience.
  • Reporting & KPIs: Track performance through Salesforce and other tools, report on KPIs regularly, and adjust tactics to consistently meet and exceed targets.
  • Brand Representation: Act as an ambassador for Odyssey Hotel Group at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to expand brand visibility and partnerships.
