About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Creative Designer -- UI to join the design team at Opel Automobile GmbH in Rüsselsheim am Main, Germany.
In this role, you will design innovative automotive user interfaces (HMI), contributing to intuitive and engaging digital experiences for next-generation vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative UI concepts for automotive systems from idea to final release
- Design high-quality visual assets, graphics, and animations for in-vehicle interfaces
- Translate user needs and brand strategy into intuitive UI solutions
- Ensure visual consistency and strong brand identity across digital touchpoints
- Collaborate closely with: Engineers, Designers, Modelers, Product and technical teams
- Contribute to the development of world-class HMI solutions
Requirements
- Degree in UI Design, Graphic Design, or related field
- Proven experience in automotive UI / HMI design (preferred)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating: Visual design, UI concepts, Animations
- Expertise in tools such as: Figma/ Adobe Creative Suite/ Motion / animation tools
- Strong understanding of brand design language and user-centered design
- Fluent English
