For an established software service provider and development partner in the German energy market, we are looking for an ABAP Senior Developer (m/f/d) as part of an exclusive mandate.

The company develops solutions that help energy suppliers, network operators, and service providers to process complex business processes efficiently and securely.

As an ABAP Senior Developer, you will support customers in the conception and development of innovative IT solutions in the SAP environment. You will be part of a dynamic team that realizes high-quality consulting solutions and actively drives technological innovation, including modern AI integrations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Technical support for customers in the conception, development, and implementation of modern IT solutions
  • Programming in ABAP and ABAP OO
  • Implementation, further development, and optimization of consulting solutions
  • Integration of MACOAPP and the AI solution power.connect into SAP IS-U and SAP S/4HANA
  • Analysis of customer requirements and independent implementation into technical solutions

Your Profile:

  • Solid understanding of the fundamentals of (business) informatics
  • No degree required — a technical-analytical background or a comparable IT qualification are perfectly sufficient
  • Experience in the energy industry
  • Sound programming skills in ABAP
  • Experience in one or more SAP modules — ideally SAP IS-U or SAP S/4HANA
  • Analytical thinking and a structured, clean way of working
  • Open-minded, communicative, and absolutely customer-oriented
  • Very good German skills, English for international projects
  • Independent, solution-oriented, and responsible working style
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and independently translate them into solutions
  • Familiarity with agile working (e.g., Scrum)
