Our client is an expert in Lean Production and Digitalization, guiding companies on their path to perfect production. The goal is to help shape the manufacturing of the future and drive the digital transformation towards the Smart Factory.
Our client is part of a corporate group that has been delighting customers in the manufacturing sector for over 40 years.
In this context, we are looking for you for the locations Heimsheim, Hamm, Heidelberg, or Mosbach as soon as possible in the position of Area Sales Manager (w/m/d) for OPEX.
Your Responsibilities
- Development and expansion of professional relationships with strategically important customers
- Acquisition of new customers to increase sales
- Maintenance of existing customers to increase sales
- Setting the course for further company growth
- Development and implementation of strategies and sales campaigns to achieve sales targets
- Translation of terms such as Lean Management and Digitalization into solution-oriented communication
- Active design and execution of formats such as webinars and customer events
Your Profile
- A suitable qualification in a commercial, technical, or IT environment (e.g., Business Administration, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Technician, Business Administrator) or in the production environment (e.g., Industrial Foreman, Production Technician) or an equivalent vocational training or relevant professional experience.
- Sound experience in sales of services
- Enthusiasm for topics such as Manufacturing Excellence, OPEX, Smart Factory, Industry 4.0, as well as Lean Management and Digitalization
- Structured approach and strong communication skills in German and English
- Good understanding of production processes and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Strong enjoyment of interacting with people – even in the early stages of the sales process
- Structured and persistent work style, characterized by continuity, perseverance, patience, and clear, solution-oriented communication
