Technical Sales Manager
Our Client
Our client develops sustainable electrical equipment used across power grids and energy infrastructure, helping the industry move away from high-impact greenhouse gases. Their technology offers a practical alternative that meets today's performance needs while reducing environmental impact. The company works closely with utilities, manufacturers, and project partners to support a smooth transition to cleaner, more compliant solutions.
Role Overview
In this role, you will help grow the adoption of SF₆-free switchgear across the DACH region by building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and supporting customers in moving toward more sustainable switching technologies.
Key Responsibilities And Activities Include
- Grow sales of SF₆-free switchgear across the DACH region
- Present sustainable MV switchgear as a strong alternative to conventional SF₆ solutions
- Own the full sales cycle, from first contact through to order intake
- Build and manage customer relationships with utilities, industrial clients, and EPCs
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through customer visits, events, and account management
- Spot new opportunities by understanding customer needs and market developments, and turn them into growth across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering; a Master's degree or MBA is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical or solution-oriented sales role
- Comfortable combining technical knowledge with a commercial mindset when working with customers
- Able to explain technical topics clearly and prepare strong customer-focused offers
- Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple sales opportunities at the same time
- Strong at building long-term customer relationships and following up on opportunities through
- Team-oriented, working closely with engineering and product teams to share customer insights
- Fluent in English and German (business level or higher)
