Job Description
- An interesting, meaningful, and responsible position with the Lower Saxony Police in the public service.
- Regular salary according to pay group 9a TV-L (€3,520.10/step 1, after 1 year €3,765.38/step 2), with a year-end bonus and a company pension plan (VBL).
- Previous relevant professional experience may be credited towards the step progression according to § 16 para. 2 TV-L. If the prerequisites are met, classification into pay group 9a, step 3, TV-L (€3,818.66 gross) is possible.
- Work-Life Balance: 30 days of annual leave, flexible working hours alongside training activities, overtime compensation, possibility of home office.

Application Process
After reviewing the requirements profile, an initial selection will be made based on the submitted documents. Structured interviews are planned for April 2026. This position is also advertised internally. If a suitable internal application is received, this external application process will be terminated.
Important Information! The regular weekly working hours are 39.8 hours. The position is suitable for part-time employment with a minimum of 20 hours per week. Individual working time models and flexible arrangements are possible to balance work and family life. However, due to operational necessities, such as involvement in special organizational units (BAO), flexible working outside of regular hours, and on-call duties may be required. Willingness to do so is assumed. For successful part-time employees, the specific tasks will be defined considering their professional experience and competencies, as well as the actual workload.
Your Responsibilities
The role includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
- Planning and conducting training sessions in First Aid (EH) and Tactical First Aid (TEH).
- Delivering EH and TEH training and supporting systematic operational training and exercises related to EH and TEH.
- Documenting, following up on, and ensuring the quality and evaluation of conducted EH and TEH training.
- Contributing to the further development of state police standards for EH and TEH under the supervision of the medical service of the Lower Saxony Police.
- Ensuring the availability and functionality of the infrastructure for conducting the relevant training.
- Providing ongoing training and professional development in EH and TEH.
Your Profile
You can apply if you have successfully completed training as an emergency medical technician or a comparable medical vocational training with a standard training duration of at least three years. A valid Class B driver's license with regular driving experience is required for this role. High commitment and pedagogical-didactic competencies are essential for successful performance. You should also possess organizational talent and conflict resolution skills. Good communication skills, as well as decision-making and assertiveness, are expected. Furthermore, flexibility in work assignments and the ability to work independently are required.
