Your Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of the category strategy for defined material groups and actively shape a high-performing supplier portfolio.
• You will conduct comprehensive market and procurement analyses, identify new suppliers, and evaluate them using structured potential and supplier assessments.
• Within the framework of the purchasing strategy, you will independently plan and conduct price and conditions negotiations, including annual price negotiations and the creation of cross-site framework agreements.
• You will play a key role in make-or-buy decisions and in identifying and realizing savings potentials for your category.
• As a liaison with Engineering, Quality, Production Planning, and Finance, you will coordinate technical and commercial issues and actively support suppliers in development projects.
• You will support the assurance of the group's quality guidelines, process complaints in cooperation with quality assurance, and drive continuous supplier development.
• You will manage order and contract management (including NDAs, strategic framework agreements, and project-specific agreements) and track relevant KPIs (e.g., PPV, TCA, ACE).

Your Profile:

• You have a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
• You have relevant professional experience in international plant or mechanical engineering and possess sound knowledge in strategic purchasing and in working with ERP/SAP systems.
• You have the ability to strategically align categories, recognize trends in the procurement market early on, and derive long-term measures for cost, quality, and risk optimization.
• With your good English skills, both written and spoken, you communicate confidently with international suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Your structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach enables you to strategically develop categories and identify potentials early on.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, a professional demeanor, as well as teamwork, commitment, and self-motivation characterize you.
• You are willing to undertake occasional domestic and international travel and possess a high degree of personal responsibility as well as strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
• You are open to spending time at our Stollberg site to ensure close cooperation with the management of strategic purchasing.
