Your Impact
In this expert role, you will contribute to building a new bioconjugation process development laboratory and drive the scientific and operational foundation for ADC manufacturing. Once operational, you will lead process development activities, manage technology transfer to GMP suites, and serve as a scientific authority for bioconjugation within a highly cross‑functional, global network.
What You Will Do
- Shape and support the setup of a new biotechnological process development laboratory with a focus on ADCs - including equipment, layout, workflows, and regulatory considerations.
- Build local expertise in bioconjugation methods, process design, characterization, and troubleshooting.
- Lead process development and optimization for bioconjugation workflows, including purification and analytical characterization.
- Execute technology transfer into the GMP manufacturing environment, ensuring readiness of processes, materials, and documentation.
- Conduct PCS and related studies for regulatory submissions.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for bioconjugation‑related scientific and regulatory questions.
- Collaborate closely with international teams, especially global development groups, to align methodologies and accelerate project execution.
- Oversee laboratory operations, including maintenance of analytical tools (e.g., HPLC systems) and coordination of materials, consumables, and waste handling.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Hands‑on experience with bioconjugation technologies (ADCs, peptides, or similar modalities).
- Knowledge of analytical and purification techniques relevant to bioconjugates.
- Experience with process development, optimization, and scale‑up.
- Familiarity with GMP/GLP environments is an advantage.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for bioconjugate production.
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to validate and refine process flows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive innovation in a global scientific setting.
- Highly organized, self‑directed working style, and strong commitment to quality.
- Very good German and English language skills.
