For an internationally positioned logistics company, we are looking for you as a Freight Forwarding Merchant (m/f/d) in Sea Freight Export at the Düsseldorf location.

What We Offer:

• Annual salary €45,000--€52,000 (depending on experience)
• 39 hours/week with flexible working hours
• 2 days home office after the probationary period

• Additional days off: Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Carnival Monday

• Varied tasks with a lot of personal responsibility

Your Responsibilities:

• Independent handling of sea freight exports -- from order entry to final billing
• Planning and control of pre- and onward carriage in coordination with service providers and partners
• Creation, control, and maintenance of export-related documents and papers (e.g., B/L, invoices, packing lists)
• Communication with shipping lines, agents, customers, and internal interfaces
• Active shipment tracking, including proactive status updates to customers
• Billing of transports as well as cost checking and control
• Processing of deviations, complaints, and clarification cases

What You Bring:

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally as a Kaufmann/-frau für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung (Forwarding and Logistics Services Merchant)
• Practical experience in sea freight export handling
• Confident use of MS Office and common forwarding software
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Structured, reliable, and service-oriented approach to work
• Team spirit, strong communication skills, and a good sense of organization
