Role:

As an IT Architect with a focus on Cloud, you design modern, scalable cloud and hybrid architectures for the IT landscape. You combine technological innovation with stable operating and security concepts, creating the foundation for high-performance digital services. With your strategic foresight, you significantly shape the further development of the cloud strategy.

Responsibility:

• You accompany applications in migration, integration, and operation in the cloud for various clients, from analysis to documentation.
• You also plan and manage migration projects and develop viable strategies, including lift-and-shift approaches.
• You continuously optimize existing cloud architectures and create reusable templates using Infrastructure as Code.
• Furthermore, you define technical guidelines, best practices, and training materials for consistent operation.
• You share your knowledge in workshops and strengthen the exchange within the cloud team.
• You ensure secure, scalable, and compliant cloud operations at all times.

Qualifications:

• You have several years of experience in enterprise architecture in the cloud environment, ideally in the public sector or in security-critical authorities, and also operate GDCA environments.
• You possess in-depth know-how in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) as well as in security and governance frameworks.
• You confidently apply container and virtualization technologies such as Kubernetes, VMware, or Hyper-V, as well as GitOps and HELM approaches in practice.
• You develop and implement cloud migration strategies in a structured and sustainable manner, advising teams on building reproducible infrastructures.
• Very good German skills (C1) and good English, along with strong communication skills, complete your profile.
