Responsibilities
- Support with tenders, bid comparisons, and contract negotiations
- Maintenance of supplier relationships and conflict management
- Monitoring of contracts and ensuring standards and sustainability requirements
- Analysis and optimization of supplier and procurement processes
- Creation and evaluation of price offers for transport products
- Management and maintenance of the freight price database
- Conducting market and competitor analyses
- Coordination of pricing strategy with internal and external stakeholders
- Planning, control, and monitoring of national and international transport handling
- Selection and coordination of suitable service providers and means of transport
- Creation of shipping, customs, and transport documents
- Communication and coordination with customers, partners, and authorities
Qualifications
- Successfully completed training as a Kaufmann/-frau für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung (or comparable) and already gained initial experience in rail transport
- Demonstrates communication strength, organizational skills, flexibility, and willingness to learn
- Works goal- and solution-oriented, independently, carefully, and reliably
- Possesses intercultural competence in daily dealings with our international customers and colleagues
- Has sound MS Office skills and
- Speaks German at a negotiation level and confident English
