SafeNow is a startup on a mission to provide free security to everyone worldwide. We are developing an app that grants immediate access to locally relevant helpers, including friends, family, or professional assistance.

We are a small team of 27 individuals from 8 different nationalities, based in Munich, with big hearts. We are seeking a passionate new team member who thrives on tackling challenges in a fast-paced startup environment. To support our continued growth and maintain a strong company culture, we are looking for you as a Senior People & Culture Manager (m/f/d). In this key role, you will shape our organizational development, enhance our HR processes, and act as a caretaker, ensuring our team feels supported and can thrive.

Responsibilities

• Strategic development of company culture and organizational development
• Point of contact and caretaker for employees on all people-related matters
• Management of the recruiting process (coordination, tooling, collaboration with agencies and external service providers)
• Handling of employment law matters in collaboration with our external law firm: employment contracts, vacation policies, terminations, equity grants, etc.
• Development of salary structures and benefits in collaboration with management
• Onboarding of new employees and continuous improvement of the onboarding process
• Conducting and developing regular employee reviews to foster feedback and personal development
• Optimization and scaling of HR processes for a growing company
• Organization of team events to promote team spirit and company culture
• Ensuring a pleasant and productive work environment, including the office space

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
• 5 years of experience in People & Culture or Personnel Management, ideally in a fast-growing startup
• Experience in managing external service providers and agencies in the HR field
• Knowledge of employment law
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
• High social competence, empathy, and communication skills in German and English
• Preferably residing in or around Munich with regular office presence (remote possible, but not preferred)

Salary Range

• Minimum Salary: 56,000 EUR
