Job Overview

On behalf of our client, a regionally established service company, we are looking for a full-time Linux Administration Specialist (m/f/d) in the Friedrichshafen area as part of temporary employment. Ref. 44376

Responsibilities

• Commissioning and maintenance of Linux servers and systems
• Administration and optimization of data center and cloud services, as well as the entire virtualization environment
• Ensuring system availability and security through continuous analysis
• Resolution of occurring disruptions up to 3rd level support
• Planning and execution of system updates and upgrades
• Support in the creation of important decision papers and new concepts
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary departments to solve technical problems

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in Computer Science / Business Informatics, successfully completed training as a specialist in IT (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification in the IT environment
• Several years of professional experience in Linux administration
• Good knowledge of servers, storage, and virtualization technologies
• Initial experience in scripting with Bash, Ruby, or Perl is desirable
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Analytical and IT-savvy mindset, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
