Job Overview

On behalf of our client, an international market leader in the agricultural sector, we are looking for a Software Test Engineer (m/f/d) in the Bad Saulgau area, full-time or part-time, 35-40 hours per week. The position is initially limited to one year under temporary employment, with the option to be permanently employed thereafter. The salary for 40 hours is €62,000-€72,000 gross annual salary. Ref. 45065

Responsibilities

Independent validation of electronic functions in research and development
Independent creation and execution of test automations on the machine and in the test field
Continuous analysis, tracking, and documentation of electrotechnical anomalies
Conception and implementation of tests in close cooperation with internal and external interfaces
Support in the release of software releases based on sound experimental reports
Supervision of test stands as part of software validation

Requirements

Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science, automotive engineering, or a comparable qualification
Professional experience as a Software Tester (m/f/d), Test Manager (m/f/d), Validation Engineer (m/f/d), Test Engineer (m/f/d), or Software Validator (m/f/d)
Adequate experience in planning, coordinating, setting up, and implementing manual and automated software tests
Confident use of Vector HiL simulators and creation of automated tests with VTestStudio; certification as ISTQB Certified Tester is an advantage
Independent, structured, and organized way of working
Fluent English and German language skills, both written and spoken
Motivation to develop and contribute innovative ideas and to solve complex problems
