Your Role
We are looking for a System Architect (m/f/d) for Telecommunications & NTN Systems for our internationally active client in the greater Friedrichshafen area. This is a full-time, permanent position. Ref. 44135
Responsibilities
- Development and responsibility for system architectures for software-intensive embedded and communication systems (end-to-end)
- Design of system and platform concepts for embedded, modem, and telecommunications solutions
- Configuration, integration, and evaluation of SoCs, FPGAs, and peripheral components in complete PoC systems
- Development, testing, and optimization of end-to-end prototypes in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
- Creation and maintenance of system documentation, integration guides, and reference designs for reuse
- Support in the evaluation of new technologies and architectures
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable technical degree
- Relevant professional experience in the product or system development of communication devices
- Experience with System-on-Chip (SoC), FPGA architectures, and the integration of third-party software, SDKs, and communication protocols
- Profound knowledge of C/C++, Python, Linux, or RTOS, as well as hardware/software co-design
- Very good command of English (spoken and written) and good knowledge of German (minimum B2 level)
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset, high technical competence, and teamwork skills in agile FE environments
